Recently, Sanrio and Sylvanian Families (or Calico Critters if you are American) announced a collaboration. I’m so excited for it!
There are six Sylvanian Families babies in the set, each with a different Sanrio character inspired costume and a furniture piece or accessory to match.
My favourite item is definitely the Hello Kitty Chocolate Rabbit, I love that they’ve combined the two brands most iconic characters.
The Little Twin Stars are my favourite Sanrio characters, so of course I love the Sylvanian version! The bed they come with is the cutest.

How to buy
The Sanrio x Sylvanian Families set will be released on March 2nd at 12pm JST for ¥11,000 and is initially exclusive to select shops in Japan including Sylvanian Families Japan and Sanrio Japan. If you aren’t in Japan, make sure to sign up with a forwarding service for international shipping and set an alarm! They will likely also be available from international resellers after the launch but expect a large markup.
