While personally I am nowhere near ready to let go of summer, I know some of you are a lot more keen for the temperatures to drop. Isabel’s announcement in Animal Crossing this week inspired me to look up some kawaii acorns so here’s some cute craft patterns, DIYs and journaling supplies for Autumn/Fall.
This little acorn felt sewing pattern by Trellis & Thyme is great for beginners but I’m sure experienced stitchers won’t be able to resist either. Turn it into hanging ornament, keychain or brooch.
Or go bigger with a plush acorn pillow using this easy tutorial with fleece by Let’s make it together. The leaves are a really nice touch to make it more interesting.
What’s cuter than an acorn? A baby squirrel in an acorn! This is a set of 2 crochet patterns by Sweet Softies. The squirrel is free and the squirrel & acorn is in their Etsy shop.
I shared KOKKO Garden’s origami fruit people during the summer and there’s an acorn too. These would be sweet stuck on to a card or strung together in a garland.
Practice drawing a cute acorn with Draw So Cute and you can use your new skills to decorate a journal spread or make a card.
Pick up a set of cute stickers instead, like this Hello, Autumn sticker sheet by Peachpink Art (UK). The art style has such a cosy storybook feel and there’s a few acorns there.
Or scatter these Happy Fall shape sprinkles stickers across your journal spread. They’re by Doodlebug Design at Scrapbook.com (US). I love that pinecone.
Get organised for the new season, or school year, with this printable flag checklist set by A Happy Blue Tree. They’ll make ticking off tasks even more enjoyable.
