Something very cute to finish off the week – a new collaboration between LeSportsac and Totoro with bags, pouches and coin purses.
I remember when a tokidoki LeSportsac was the pinnacle of kawaii cool and I never owned one so this Totoro collection is making me nostalgic and grabby.
I especially love the Botanical pattern with all the Totoros hiding amongst the flowers.
There’s also a grey design with a hand-drawn style that adds some soot sprites too. Both designs are available on a range of bags and pouches in different shapes and sizes including handbags, weekender bags and totes.
How cute are these colourful little coin purses with different designs on each side? These are the most affordable items at ¥3500 (around £25/$32) while some of the bags are way pricier at over £100/$185. They do have a lot of cool features and nice details though.
The collection goes on sale in Japan next week (10th March) and is expected to sell out fast so if you can afford it, everything is up for preview at LeSportsac and the official Ghibli store Donguri Sora. Both those stores are Japan only but you can use a forwarding service to buy internationally. They may be available from other shops too that can ship worldwide including sellers on Amazon Japan and Ebay.
