It might only be September but if you collect Halloween plush, it’s time to get your orders in as many of this year’s kawaii character collections are limited edition and starting to sell out. Here’s a few of my favourites.
I think Sanrio has won the battle with San-X this year as I love all the little plush mascots at Sanrio Japan (forwarding service required). Most of the main characters are available including Hello Kitty, My Melody and Pompompurin and they all have a different look. How cute is Kuromi as a witch? Update: These are now on JapanHaul who have an English website and ship worldwide.
San-X Japan (forwarding service required) is trying hard though. Rilakkuma and friends have a zombie wedding theme going on and the scars are an especially fun touch. Kiiroitori is already sold out so don’t delay.
Sumikko Gurashi are feeling spooky too with a cat theme. There’s all the cat siblings in witch hats and capes and even a kitty sofa for them to sit on! My favourite is the cat ghost though as I’m a big Obake fan.
Pikachu has gone pastel for this year’s Halloween collection but I much prefer Morpeko dressed as Gengar! You can get this from the Pokemon Center USA.
We know Pusheen loves Halloween and this year’s Boosheen collection at at The Pusheen Shop (USA) is too adorable. Even though the light-up plush is sadly sold out, it needs to be shared here. You can still buy t-shirts, stickers, candy bowl, glow in the dark enamel pin and more.
Who do you think made the best Halloween plush this year?
