I was happy to hear that Cute Things From Japan has reopened after a break, especially as they sent me a discount code for my birthday! I had a look through their new arrivals and here’s some of the kawaii stationery items I’ve got my eye on.
I love the bunny art of Shinako but it’s difficult to order the original products from Japan. I’m glad there’s an easy way to get these sweet stickers.
I may have squealed a bit when I spotted this stationery bunny washi tape by Maruco Art. There’s a matching stamp too! I’m going to imagine there’s one of these bunnies in my studio that hides all the things I can’t find.
This Foodie Cats washi tape by YOKO is amazing – that poor kitty stuck in a milk bottle! I must have it.
As well as Japanese illustrators, Cute Things From Japan also stock some big kawaii brands like San-X. These small stationery items aren’t usually available from the San-X online shop so I’m sure I’ll be picking up something from the Sumikko Gurashi bakery collection featuring my favourite little Baguette friend.
I really love the hand-printed feel of the stationery from Japanese company Furukawa Paper. These cat stickers are my favourite but they have some lovely washi tape designs too.
I’ve been reorganising my stickers lately and really need some folders. I noticed these cool new multi pocket sticker files by Mindwave that hold both sticker sheets and sticker flakes! They’d be really handy for carrying around your favourites if you don’t have time to make Andi’s On-the-Go Stationery Storage Journal.
Cute Things From Japan are based in Japan and ship worldwide. I’ll let you know what I end up buying, and you can have a look at one of my previous orders too.
