I thought I’d share a few photos of my kawaii Christmas decorations. I’ve been collecting festive kawaii for a few years and it’s always so much fun putting everything on display. I hope it gives you some ideas.

I only have a small tree, but that means I can pack on the ornaments! My sister made the angel on top of my tree.

The San-X ornaments I bought in Japan and the others are mostly either handmade or from Paperchase. I made that cross stitch pudding myself! Look out for more DIY decoration ideas later this week. I also have lots of fun stuff on my mantelpiece, including Christmas Pikachu and Loppy plush, nesting dolls from Paperchase and a glittery Momiji doll. Here’s a video from my Instagram.

If you don’t have room for a tree, or aren’t allowed to kawaii up the main tree, get a tiny one! I got this real one a few years ago from a supermarket and added tiny decorations. I clipped a brooch on the top and hung up kawaii phone charms.

I also made some hanging ornaments from cute stickers – just find two of the same size and stick them back to back with a loop of thread in between. Easy!
We’d love to see your kawaii decorations – tag us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and we’ll share them.
