Kelsea Echo Hair Accessories Review

Posted on October 24, 2014 by

Kelsea Echo sent me a parcel of their handmade kawaii hair accessories to test out so let’s have a look and see what I thought.

The excitement started well before I opened it as the box had a cute Kelsea Echo sticker and then inside everything was beautifully packed in pastel gift boxes plus some freebies including a badge and sticker. Even if you’re buying something for yourself, it will feel like a real treat!

I don’t wear a lot of jewellery as I’m allergic to some metals, so Kelsea sent me a selection of her pretty hair accessories with even more cute packaging. That’s a lot of hairslides! The colours are so pretty and some of my favourites, and flowers go with everything. The other set has macarons and even a cupcake – great for adding a kawaii touch to your outfit! They’re all well-made and look really cute worn in pairs. I tried to take some photos of me wearing them, but failed miserably, sorry.

Everyone knows I like bunnies and this was my favourite piece – a hair comb with pretty pastel flowers and a bunny on top! Unfortunately, it falls right out of my annoyingly-fine hair but hopefully with a bit of hairspray and backcombing, I can at least wear it on special occasions.

Everything at Kelsea Echo is handmade and currently there are two collections, themed around Alice in Wonderland and Halloween. Prices range from around £6 for earrings to £48 for a statement necklace, with sets of hairslides and rings around £15-£20.

Updated 2020: This shop is now closed – have a look at Our Favourite Kawaii Artists, Designers & Makers instead.

(Products were provided for review by Kelsea Echo, but this is my honest review and the photos are my own)
