Super Cute Kawaii celebrates our 18th anniversary this week! Here’s an update on the staff Q&As, blog schedule and other bits of news.
Happy 18th Birthday SCK!
Can you believe it’s been 18 years of kawaii blogging? We’ve had another year of ups and downs but we keep going and I think we’ve created some of our best ever content this past year. Personally, I love the new What’s in my Bag? series but we’ve also had loads of Japan travel posts from Emma and tried out some fun crafts and subscription boxes for SCK Tries… and reviews. We have some good stuff coming up too and Emma is back in Japan right now. All our content continues to be free so if you’d like to help us celebrate, you can download some freebies from our Ko-Fi shop and/or make a donation to help with our running costs.
Staff Q&As – ask Marceline a question!
The SCK Team are all working on a new round of Q&As to let you – and us!- find out more about the people behind the blog. Q&As from Arlandyia, Emma, Gabriel, Allison and Nicolette are on the way, though we’re all a bit busier than we hoped so there’s no fixed schedule. I’ll be last and would love to answer reader questions if there’s anything you’d like to know about me as co-founder/editor of SCK, author and Wikipedia-approved kawaii expert! Just leave a comment below with your question (if you already left one on the previous post, I have a note of it!).
Blog Schedule
Now that summer is almost over, we’ll do our best to return to our normal schedule of posting every weekday and alternate Saturdays with a newsletter on Sundays. We may still skip a Wednesday here and there as I no longer have enough time to fill all the gaps, or the money to hire new writers.
