Created by Japanese illustrator Juno, these fluffy round felines have no confirmed names nor genders, while mofusand comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia “mofu mofu” (fluffy) and “sand.” You might’ve even come across the two most popular ones: Samenyan (Shark Meow) and Ebinyan (Shrimp Meow).
