Congratulations to Pompompurin! The pudding pup finally made it to the top spot after many runner-up placings and even dropping off the podium last year. As my personal favourite, I can’t quite believe it! 9 of the 14 countries/regions picked him as their favourite and we can all look forward to even more cute merch later in the year.

Winner of the last 3 years, Cinnamoroll, is a strong runner-up, only losing out by a small margin and still the favourite of Hong Kong and Singapore.

Pochacco holds off Kuromi for the last podium spot, partly thanks to all his fans in South Korea.

The rest of the top 10 is similar to last year with a bit of shuffling. Pekkle the white duck makes it into the top 10 while Keroppi drops out.

A special mention for Chococat, who picked up podium spots in the UK, USA, Spain and Brazil. That bumped him up a huge 22 places to #24 and should hopefully mean fans will see more of him in those regions. It’s been a real comeback from almost retirement a few years ago.
