Here’s our review of the Winter Pusheen Box with a Staying Cozy theme of cute treats for snowy days. Full spoilers ahead if yours hasn’t arrived yet.
Even though the box isn’t Christmas-themed, it still arrived in plenty time for gifting with everything packed inside a sweet Pusheen pink ribbon bow box. The vinyl figure also wears a bow, which is flocked! She’s very round and very cute and not too big.
Inside everything looks sweet and fresh with a mix of mint green and candy pink. There were 7 items in the Winter 2024 Pusheen Box – sweater, pot holders, cake stand, cake server, baking mat, plush and vinyl figure. They all go really well together so we’ll have a closer look at everything.
Exclusive Mini Plush
This year’s boxes all have an exclusive plush and the last one is Pusheen in a pink striped scarf. This could have been a bit boring but she’s so small and squishy, and fits so nicely in your hand, that it makes her feel more special.
I also really like the flatter shape and the little paws (the other two are embroidered underneath). These plush have definitely been an extra reason to subscribe since you can’t get them anywhere else and I hope they’ll continue next year.
Oversized Sweater
This was a spoiler item and I was very excited as I love a jumper and it was something a bit different from the printed sweatshirts in previous boxes. It’s even better in person with a lovely pale green colour and Pusheen face. I couldn’t believe how heavy and thick it was and it actually has two layers of fabric on the front which make it extra-cosy. It’s 100% polyester, not actual wool, and feels very soft and not itchy.
As promised, it’s a little oversized and perfect for lounging around at home. The neckline might be a little high for me but I’m always glad to see Pusheen Box trying something new, even if it doesn’t end up being ideal for me personally.
Cake Stand & Serving Spatula
This was another spoiler item and looked quite small in the photos but actually the stand is much bigger and can fit a full size cake. It arrived assembled but you can remove the base for storage, or even to use as a flat plate. I love the wavy edge that makes it look cute even when the snowglobe design is covered up, and it will also help keep a stack of cupcakes or cookies from sliding off the edge.
The serving spatula is made of a clear acrylic with ribbon Pusheen and is a good size for a generous slice. I can’t honestly say I’ve ever felt the lack of either a cake stand or a cake slice in my life but it will certainly make parties and afternoon tea a lot cuter. Keep reading for more photos…
Silicone Baking Mat & Pot Holders
I wasn’t expecting these at all and was very pleased to see the silicon baking mat, which is a large size (16.5″ x 11″ / 42cm x 28cm) and feels very professional, as well as looking cute! I use pot holders all the time and these are both bigger, cuter and easier to clean than my current ones. One has the same snowglobe design as the cake plate and the other a pattern of Pusheen, Stormy & Pip wearing scarves.
I was pretty much being forced into doing some baking here so I could test these out! Cookies were the obvious choice, especially since I have a Pusheen cookie cutter. I didn’t have a baking sheet big enough, but luckily it fitted in the roasting pan.
After baking I can honestly give this 10/10. The cookies were very easy to remove and barely left a mark on the sheet – it just needed a wipe down and then I could roll it up for next time. The pot holders weren’t quite padded enough for such a heavy tray but they work great for more everyday sheets and pans.
Final Thoughts
This was a really well-planned box with all high quality useful items that work well together – and a super cute colour scheme too. There’s really nothing you can consider a filler item, though I would actually maybe have liked to see something like that – a notebook or pin, or even paper plates. I do like to bake but I’m pretty basic so hopefully all these cute new things will inspire me to up my game. At worst, my kitchen is even cuter! If you don’t bake or have much kitchen space, this might not be the box for you but I would rank it just a little below the Summer Fruits box for this year.
