The one thing Christmas does is bring us together around the table and it’s always full of food and fun. So if you’re planning a party, a dinner for friends, or even a meal for the big day, then maybe you’ll need (want) some of the festive tableware on this list.
If you need somewhere to put a festive cake or a stack of mince pies, then I really love this snowflake serving plate from Target (US). I love its simplicity and the fact that it’s more winter than Christmas, so whatever you’re celebrating, this would fit the time of year. There’s also a range of smaller plates to go with this too, although I think I prefer these next ones…
These side plates from West Elm (UK) are really beautiful, with a classic pine design painted on top decorated with little red baubles. These would be perfect for a slice of a Christmassy looking cake or a pile of gingerbread biscuits.
This gingerbread house milk jug at Anthropologie (global) would be perfect if you’re planning on having a festive tea party. But I also think that it’d make preparing your own morning tea feel that little bit more magical too. Keep an eye out in store for the matching sugar pot and mug too, as they’re sold out online.
While these from H&M Home (global) are obviously salad servers and would be perfect for a southern hemisphere celebration, as a winter Christmas girl, I don’t normally have a salad on the big day. However, I do think these could 100% be repurposed as roast potato servers instead, because I just love the deers on top.
A perfect addition to any drinks party is this little snack bowl with a pine cone design in the bottom from Søstrene Grene (global). You could use it for crisps, nuts, or chocolates and have them dotted around for your guests to have something to snack on between cocktails.
Need space for more snacks? These little bowls from Emma Bridgewater (UK) are just the right size and would work for small dessert servings too. There’s a lovely gingerbread design and a baubles one too.
If you’re looking for a disposable option for your celebration then I have to suggest Meri Meri’s (UK/EU/SS) collection of paper plates. I love their fun designs including tree shaped ones dotted with Christmas icons and festive house shaped plates.
Marshalls (US) have a great selection of marble tree shaped serving boards for charcuterie, cheese, or even little sweet treats. I like this one that’s a mix of wood and marble, but the one lined with gold gives your cheese board an upgrade for a special occasion.
If you’ve got the budget, then the casserole dishes in the Le Creuset (global) Christmas collection are stunning. These can be used to serve as well as cook and there’s mini versions available too, as well as mugs and plates.
I couldn’t do a list of Christmas tableware without including a themed mug. I own a fantastic Father Christmas shaped one already, but I was sucked in by this Christmas tree shaped mug from Williams Sonoma (US), with all its ornaments included.
