It’s the perfect time of year to add extra charm to your space, and I think the quintessential holiday decoration is a wreath. Whether you’re a crafter or prefer to buy over DIY, I hope you’ll find a Christmas wreath just for you.
Country Living has a list of 56 Easy DIY Christmas Wreaths and these were my favorites, Click through for the full tutorials.
- Felt Leaf Wreath (#1) – All you need to do is cut leaves from felt and hot glue them onto a wooden craft ring. You could even make a felt Poinsettia to add a pop of holiday color.
- Mini Ornament Color Wheel Wreath (#9) – Why stick to just red and green when you could decorate a wreath with mini ornaments arranged following the colors of the rainbow
- Vintage Family Photos Wreath (#44) – I love the idea of a photo wreath – and the photos don’t have to be vintage – I think it’d be fun to choose your favorite photo from each month of the year and hot glue them onto a wire wreath
- Edible Herb Wreath (#53) – I never thought of making a wreath with kitchen herbs. This one has sage, oregano, rosemary, and bay and links to one that’s no longer on Etsy but doing a search shows plenty others.
Bucilla on Amazon (US/UK) has some of the cutest seasonal felt craft kits and if you’re a cat or dog lover, the Holiday Housecats and Dogs wreaths are too cute. They kind of remind me of those fun Christmas sweaters. These kits would be great for anyone who enjoys sewing.
Mon Ami (US) is new to me, but I became an instant fan of their adorable plushies. They have quite a large collection for Christmas with ornaments, stockings, and holiday dolls, and even plush wreaths in green and a mint pastel version.
This one is a little pricey but I hadn’t seen an advent calendar wreath before! Balsam Hill’s (US) wooden wreath comes with a remote to light a mini house one by one to count down the days until Christmas.
There are a couple of holiday DIY wreath kits with dried flowers from Bloomy Concept (EU) and a beautiful blue winter one, as well as premade Christmas wreaths.
Notable Wreaths (US) have so many handmade burlap wreaths to choose from. I featured them in my Fall Wreaths post with their unique pumpkin wreath and for Christmas they have a candy cane! But some of my other favorites for Winter are the blue snowflake, snowman, and gingerbread ones.
Happy Holidays!
