Here’s our review of the Fall Pusheen Box with a Mystical Meowgic theme of spooky cute treats for Halloween. Full spoilers ahead if yours hasn’t arrived yet.

This arrived well in time for Halloween with a Pusheen witch design box to get you excited for what’s inside. The vinyl figure is also witch Pusheen and her pearlescent crystal ball. This one is massive but at least works as a Halloween decoration too.

Inside everything was dark and spooky with lots of black and purple. There were 7 items in the Fall 2024 Pusheen Box – hoodie, potion bottles, cauldron planter, tapestry, string lights, plush and vinyl figure. Let’s have a closer look at my favourites.
Exclusive Witch Pusheen Plush

This year’s boxes all have an exclusive plush and this time we get Pusheen in her witch hat. The design is not quite as unique as the peach and bread Pusheens earlier this year but still very cute and there’s a lot of fun details on the witch’s hat, especially the ears poking through.

It’s also a long plush that sits nicely and is fun to squish. She’ll be joining the rest of my plushies on the studio sofa and I’m very intrigued to see what we’ll get next time. It’s definitely an extra reason to subscribe if you love plushies.
Unisex Hoodie

If you’ve read any of my previous reviews, you know I am always raving about the apparel, especially the hoodies and sweatshirts, which I live in during the colder months. This hoodie was a spoiler item and I was thrilled to be adding something spooky to my hoodie rotation. It’s covered in a pattern of witch Pusheens, crescent moons, books and candles that make it extremely Halloween-themed but still something I’ll be fine with wearing any time of year.

It fits as perfectly as the others and has the same front pockets, fleecy lining, full zip and drawstring hood to keep me cosy. The printing is a little bit patchy on Pusheen and she ends up looking quite yellow from the underprinting but since you can’t see it very well in these photos, it’s maybe not as noticeable as I thought. I’ve already been happily wearing it anyway.
String Lights

The pompom string lights from the Winter 2020 box are still going strong on my mantelpiece but I’m always happy to add more so was very pleased to see these. They have alternating Pusheens and bats which are made of a thick plastic so they hang well without getting twisted up. I was very impressed with how bright they are – the plastic is clear around the centre which lets out lots of light. The purple was a great colour choice too and really makes the room feel spooky.

They take 2 AA batteries which is a bit annoying and I probably won’t use them as much as if it was USB. I also really wish they’d added a face to the bats. They still look great all day though so I’ll be keeping them there until I put my Christmas decorations up.
Potion Bottles

These mini glass bottles are very cute and well made with a patterned design and cork stoppers. I can’t say I was excited to open them but the more I thought about it, they do have a lot of uses in the kitchen, bathroom or your craft space.

I have filled mine with the magical trio of sprinkles, furikake and mini pompoms, which you can definitely use to summon me. What would yours be?
Final Thoughts

The other items were a printed wall tapestry and a cauldron planter, which you can see in the photos. Both are really nice but not a lot you can say about them. The planter is a great size and very sturdy so can be used for other things too, like a candy bowl. Overall, it’s a fun theme with mostly decorative items that are well-made and will last for many years. While I love Halloween, and this box is always a sellout, I do wonder if it might be time for a change as there hasn’t been an Autumn theme for at least 5 years.
