This weekend brings us Halfway To Halloween – and a few days from the return of Dracula Daily! If you’re looking for a new craft project, why not start something spooky? These cute craft kits and patterns will take a bit of time to complete so you can keep yourself busy and have something to display in October.
Let’s start with some crochet patterns and Super Cute Design has an adorable set of 5 Halloween cupcakes to make. You could use them as decorations or make some as gifts for friends.
As someone who enjoys having a few spider friends in my home, I love this spider beret by HELLOhappy! If it’s a bit too creepy crawly for you, there’s also crochet patterns for a shy ghost hat and happy pumpkin bag.
I was sad to see that Stitch & Story closed down a few months ago. If you’ve had your eye on any of their crochet or cross stitch kits, you should pick them up from stockists before they’re all gone. The Pusheen Shop (US) still has some Boosheen crochet kits to make a cuddly friend.
Cross stitch is easy to pick up and the Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery have so many cute Halloween patterns. This Spooky Sampler has lots of kawaii characters and you could frame the finished piece or even turn it into a pillow.
Mollie of Wild Olive’s most recent Halloween design will put a spell on you! It’s available as both an embroidery pattern and a cross stitch pattern and you could also just stitch up individual elements.
With 24 cute characters, this mega set of Halloween toys felt sewing patterns by Sokol Felt will keep you busy all the way to October. You can also buy them individually and in smaller sets if you’re less ambitious.
Book nooks are the new trend in dollhouse miniatures and they fit between books on your shelf. This Magic House kit from Rolife has lots of spooky details and lights up too. It’s available from lots of sellers including Play With Unicorn (CAN).
If The Nightmare Before Christmas is your favourite movie, you can have a go at making some of the characters in resin. Sophie & Toffee (SG) collaborated with Disney for this subscription box and there’s a few left over with everything you need for multiple projects. Get 10% off with our affiliate link.
And don’t forget our own original tutorials including Mollie’s rainbow pumpkin wreath, my Animal Crossing spooky cookies and Andi’s clay & resin garland and Gudetama pumpkin decorations!
We’ll definitely be sharing more free, quick and easy DIYs in the Autumn but you can also browse our Halloween Crafts posts in the archives.
