Kawaii Beach & Pool Accessories

I don’t get a lot of opportunities to hang out at the beach or pool (because Scotland) but if you live somewhere warmer, or have a beach trip planned, these fun accessories will make lounging around extra cute.

This post is really just an excuse to share some of the amazing inflatables around. The Pokemon Center (US site only) has an incredible selection of pool floats with Pikachu & Psyduck rings and Snorlax & Wailord flat loungers. There’s lots more in the summer collection too, even picnic baskets and grill sets!

Their Japanese baby brand Monpoke (JP) also has some cute things like inflatable pools and water toys. You can buy them on Amazon Japan.

Smoko (US) always come up with fun stuff featuring their original characters and you can buy Boba Tea, Tayto and Mootato as pool floaties.

The mini sized floaties are obviously great for drinks but you can also use them for fun photo opportunities with small plush or dolls – see our photography guide for tips. There are loads of cute designs around like this set of 3 donuts, currently on sale at ASOS (UK).

This Sumikko Gurashi bucket set makes me very nostalgic as I grew up at the seaside. It’s got everything you need to keep kids entertained and I wouldn’t judge you for using it yourself! Waterproof sandals are a must for summer and A Cute Shop (TW) have a few Sanrio pool slides and flip flops to keep you looking kawaii. This Hello Kitty design looks so comfy too.
