I love trinket dishes and you’ll find a few cute ones in most rooms in my house. They’re just so useful for holding keys and small items that might get lost in a drawer. Here’s some kawaii trinket dishes by artists and makers on Etsy.
Currently top of my wish list are these kawaii painted trinket dishes by emmadoodlez (UK). The illustration style is so happy and colourful – and reminds me a little of the classic old Paperchase style that I miss so much. These sold out super fast recently but more are now available to pre-order.
Sophs Draws (UK) was my favourite discovery and makes the cutest clay trinket dishes with sleepy tigers. There’s a few different designs, all handmade to order, and you can even have a custom dish (or jewellery) made with your own pet!
You can’t go wrong with an animal-shaped dish and Cinda Designs (UK) has lots of sweet bears in different colours and styles, plus some cute patterned dishes too.
It’s really difficult to choose something to feature from SweetSpiritsNL (EU) who makes the prettiest pastel resin dishes in all kinds of shapes and sizes. I think these little stars are my favourite but there’s also crescent moons, hearts, strawberries and more.
For a larger dish that’s also food-safe, head over to Poppekins (UK) for a super colourful range of illustrated melamine trays. There’s all sorts of fun designs for snacks, crafts and Christmas.
I Like Cats (UK) also has melamine trays and dishes in various sizes, and all covered in cats of course!
Polymer clay always looks so kawaii and this handmade frog ring dish by Whitefrosty (CAN) is sure to cheer you up every time you see it.
These resin shell trinket dishes by Fat Pom Poms (UK) would look especially cute in the bathroom but come in so many glittery colours that you’ll be able to find one that fits in anywhere.
Marceline is the co-founder and editor of Super Cute Kawaii and the author of The Super Cute Book of Kawaii. She lives by the seaside in Scotland in a flat full of kawaii, creating cute character goods as Asking For Trouble, working on endless craft projects and playing Nintendo.
