Here’s another batch of super cute washi tape for those of us who can’t stop adding to our collection! This time it’s a mix of independent artists and kawaii characters plus some spooky cute Halloween designs.
The Washi Station (CAN) is a really cool idea – they collaborate with artists to create exclusive washi tape. The new Witchy Washi collection looks awesome and has designs by Mel Stringer, Deth P Sun, Bree Lundberg and loads more.
We’ve featured the cute planner stickers of Happy Cutie Studio (UK) a few times and now they have washi tape too. These are all super cute and colourful but if I had to pick a favourite, the books and tea design with silver foil is perfect for autumn.
It’s not technically washi tape but I am currently obsessed by these Rilakkuma deco tapes, especially the new happy mail designs. I managed to buy a previous design from the San-X store and they’re printed on a clear textured material that’s waterproof so great for packages. Hopefully they’ll add these new ones online soon, though if you’re in the EU you can buy them now from Cuteness, plus some Sumikko Gurashi tapes too.
If you’re more of a Studio Ghibli fan, there’s a really cute new washi tape collection out now. Each set has 2 rolls themed around one of the films with everything from My Neighbour Totoro and Kiki’s Delivery Service to Porco Rosso and Whisper of the Heart. Get them from JetPens (US) or Rainbowholic Shop (JP).
Cute Things From Japan (JP) always has some interesting new stationery from Japanese creators and I’m intrigued by the art washi tapes by Miki Tamura. There’s a few sets with different subtle patterns that you can tear and use for collage art. They’d also be great for text backgrounds in journaling spreads.
If spring is on the way on your side of the globe, these gold foil die cut sakura tapes are so pretty. Choose from a few pastel colours at MoshiMoshiUK (UK).
Shana Logic (US) has been building a great range of kawaii washi tape from indie artists and there’s some adorable designs for Halloween and Autumn/Fall. I especially love the mushroom buddies by Sugarnova.
Another favourite of both Shana Logic and me is Robot Dance Battle (US). I know I feature their washi tape a lot in these posts but how am I supposed to not include these Bunny Moods?
