It’s been a while since we’ve posted a kawaii review, but we’ve got a good one for you. CoolPencilCase sent me a Rilakkuma Deluxe Set to review and I’m going to tell you all about it.
As you can see, the set comes packaged in a box which looks really cute and colourful. This set comes in a few designs featuring everyone’s favourite relaxing bear, and mine is the Best Friends Forever set, aww.
Inside you’ll find a spiral bound notebook, a set of stickers and a metal pencil tin with 3 pencils, a ruler and eraser. Everything is individually packaged so it was all in great condition. There was a small moment of disappointment when I realised the pencils were unsharpened and there was no sharpener included! Luckily, I had a cute one already and it revealed that the pencils are pink inside – a cute touch!
Another cool feature is that the ruler has a zigzag cut in the bottom edge so you can draw wavy lines. Okay, I’m easily amused! The notebook is made with very thin paper which is fine for pencils but wouldn’t stand up to felt tips or ink pens – the adorable cover almost makes up for that though. The pencil tin is the main attraction and it blows everything else away – it’s really big, excellent quality and has Rilakkuma printed inside as well on the lid. It looks like it could stand up to a lot of use and there’s loads of room inside. I will definitely be using it!
All in all, this is a good deal for $16.85 (about £10). You would definitely spend more than that buying these things individually and it’s cool to have a matching set. It would make a great gift for any school or college student.
