Le Bun will be here soon with a brand new contest but this is just a quick post to let you know the winners of the MoshiMoshiKawaii contest.
The winners were Eleanore, who wanted to see
A Moshi Distressed GCSE student including realistic suicidal facial expression and a life like outfit comprised entirely of highlighters and sticky notes. Will be just like looking at a kawaii version of myself.
Aww! and Sarah, who wanted to see a Moshi pirate. Well, take a look above Sarah!
Thanks everyone who entered and don’t forget, you can pick up your own copies from the Walker Books website, or from Amazon. Happy reading!
Thanks to Niels and Jessica for getting in touch to tell us about the super-cute new iPhone app they’ve launched!
It’s called iSnuggle and if you’re lucky enough to have an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad you can download the app and really give your messages the kawaii treatment.
Choose from cute hearts, bunnies, fairytale castles, football goals, rainbows – there really are so many permutations of cuteness that your eyeballs may very well fall out in amazement!
You can find out more about the app here and download it for a bargain price of £0.59 GBP or $0.99 USD here.
You can post your message as SMS, emails or on Facebook or Twitter – why not post a message on our Facebook?

Bonjour, mes amis! C’est moi, Le Bun, here to bring to vous le guest pickings from la tres belle Rowan, from Out Of The Frame.
Moi, I am in ze Glasgow today, visiting le Bunny et le Panda. but zey do not tell to me zat it is raining all ze time! Zut alors, zis is July et il pleut all of the days! I am une bun tres soggy, as you say. Maintenant, on with ze guest pickings!
Hi! I’m Rowan from Out Of The Frame. Here’s my picks for Monsieur Le Bun:
I am a bright colours person. I have been told that it is my brightly coloured clothes that mark me out as a foreigner here in Bosnia and Herzegovina where I live! I love how talkproof uses blocks of bright colours to make her plushies. They are so simple yet so cute. The colours on this one are awesome and he has that look on his face that says ‘take me home with you!’
FantasticToys is one of my favourite shops on Etsy. He has a great blog too. Everything he makes is amazingly cute – but this shy looking Sewing Machine is my current favourite.
I used to run a youth centre on a double-decker London bus so I have a soft spot for them anyway but this one is made even cuter by the addition of the Paul Frank Monkey and his friends and is available from Chicki.
My sister in law collects Momiji dolls. We don’t live in the same country anymore and I miss her. I think this cute little keyring is just what I need to carry with me everyday to remind me of her!
Since discovering Spoonflower, I really want to learn how to make clothes. There are so many amazing patterns to choose from. This one by Christinopia would make a lovely, cute and happy summer dress. Click here to see the pattern.
Rowan is an English girl living and working in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She says:
“I have been making and designing amigurumi since March 2009. I make one of a kind dolls each with their own story. They usually come with some accessories which form part of the story. I start by picking a colour combination that I like and then let the character evolve from there. I have an etsy shop and together with another friend who is about to start out on etsy we held the first ever etsy event in Bosnia and Herzegovina last month as part of Etsy’s birthday celebrations! I also have a blog and I’m very excited to say that some of my dolls will be part of the PlushYou 2010 show in Seattle in October.”
Merci beaucoup for le pickings, Rowan, mon petit pois! A bientot, mes amis!
Oh Paperchase. Seriously, you need to give us a break from the cute! I’m not sure our hearts can take any more. Yep, Paperchase have unveiled their latest collection Cloud 9 and oh my, it’s cute.
It’s full of cute animals, rainbows and clouds and everything is totally adorable. It’s a huge range too – as well as the usual notebooks, pens and bags, there’s another noodle bowl, a bento box, plasters, plush toys, fairy lights and even some birthday candles!
I definitely need some of this so we’ll be making a trip over to Edinburgh soon to pick up some stuff for ourselves and the SCK shop. If you’ve got any requests leave a comment and we’ll try and sort something out. If you’re in the UK, you can order direct from Amazon.
I’ve seen some cute things in my time but this really takes the biscuit. It’s an MP3 player in the shape of Miffy who charges on an adorable grassy dock with a little house!
It’s made by a Korean company and the further you scroll down the product page, the cuter it gets – so many cute features from removable, swappable clothes to a toggle button tail!
Normally these sort of awesome things end up being available only in Japan but you can actually buy these from Amazon.com (they should ship worldwide) – sadly the player and dock need to be purchased separately, but I suppose you don’t NEED a cute dock (no, wait, of course you do!). It’s probably not the best value MP3 player on the market but it sure is the cutest!
If you enjoyed our Future Kawaii posts in the past then you’ll be pleased to hear they have a brand new home. It kind of went against the SCK policy of showing you cute things you can buy right now since a lot of them will never make it out of Japan. Instead I’ll be posting them on Tumblr at OMG Kawaii. So check it out to see the latest kawaii products coming out of Japan. There’s some adorable Summer products being posted this week.
