It’s time for our monthly roundup of subscription boxes and surprise boxes so you can see what themes are available at all our favourites with kawaii characters, plush, stationery, candy & snacks, crafts and more. Some boxes show the full contents so spoilers ahead if you don’t want to see. This month there’s lots of themes for summer, plus special discounts for new subscribers!


TokyoTreat, Sakuraco & YumeTwins (JP)

ZenPop (JP)
The latest ZenPop Japanese Stationery Box is a Calm Rain Box, themed around rainy season in Japan with frogs, hydrangeas and umbrellas. It’s filled with 9 themed Japanese stationery items including a monthly calendar. Sadly this will be the last ZenPop box before they close down at the end of the month. There’s also big discounts in their Clearance Sale for previous boxes and stationery.

Pipsticks (US)
Pipsticks have sticker clubs and subscriptions in a range of sizes and designs (some are US/CAN only), plus one off boxes. There’s a huge new Miffy Stationery Box available to pre-order now, filled with exclusive Miffy stationery goodies and a free sticker book keychain. The monthly collab with Hello Kitty & Friends also has all-exclusive items including multiple sheets of fun stickers (including puffy, scratch n’ sniff & vinyl), activity zine, postcard and re-usable storage pouch. Sophie & Toffee (SG)
Get creative with a subscription box from Sophie & Toffee, which all have exclusive supplies for original resin craft projects. The Elves Box theme is Celestial Zodiac Clock with moulds and supplies to make a working clock, while the Pixie Box is A Space Among Stars with space-themed moulds and more surprise products. There’s also a new quarterly Sanrio Characters Resin Craft Box for a Rosy Haven Pocket Dollhouse with officially licensed moulds, stickers and supplies (the website isn’t updated yet but all the details are on socials). The Make Arcade (UK)
The monthly Stitch Mail box includes everything you need to make an exclusive modern cross stitch project. This time it’s a “Let’s Get Lost” triangular pennant flag that you’ll stitch and assemble. Every box also includes a mini book of additional cross stitch motifs, beginner guide and surprise gift. A few past boxes are also still available.

Cotton & Twine (UK)
Cotton & Twine’s cross stitch subscription box brings you a new and exclusive cross stitch project every month, from designers around the world. This month’s pattern is Two Butterflies, designed by Crocette a Gogo, and you can choose from a PDF Pattern Only, Full Kit with supplies, or Original Kit with extras (this month there’s a Bumble Bee Needle Minder, Honey flavoured Candy Floss and an artisan tea bag). SoKawaii & NihonBox (JP)
SoKawaii has a mix of official plushies, adorable accessories, and kawaii surprises, while NihonBox is a Japanese culture box with an anime figure from the license of your choice, gachapon, snacks, traditional products, pop culture goodies and a cultural booklet. Sadly this is also their final month so get a box while you can.
