It’s that time again! The 2024 Sanrio Character Ranking site is open for voting now to find out which characters are the favourites.
This year’s theme is ‘Love & Thanks’ and you’re encouraged to vote for your favourite character or one you have fond memories of. There’s 90 Sanrio characters to vote for including some nostalgic older characters and some brand new ones.
Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin and Kuromi were the top 3 worldwide last year – for the second year in a row. You can look back at the regional rankings in our 2023 results post. Will you vote for your top favourite, or help boost a character that’s not so popular?
Sanrio Japan (requires forwarding service) have also released some new products to celebrate and it’s always a good time for fans of less popular characters. These embroidered keychains have so many nice details and there’s 40 characters to choose from. You can also try your luck with the mini photo album lucky dips. There’s 3 sets of 10 to pick from and you’ll receive one album at random.
You can vote every day until the 26th of May and Sanrio will be releasing regular updates on how the voting is going on the special Twitter account. It’s also worth following the official Instagram accounts @hellokittyeu (EU & UK) and @sanrio (US) for regional updates and offers.
The winner will be announced in June and we’ll share some picks with the top characters again then.
