When I’m looking for inspiration for cute creations I go to Little Dear, which features original hand embroidery & felt craft patterns, as well books, stickers, printable art, and more by Aimee Ray.
If you’re an experienced embroiderer or new to the craft you can find a variety of choices on the website, including printed fabric samplers, printable patterns, and full kits. I’m in love with the unicorn garden, inspired by Medieval tapestry design, on a beautiful teal fabric.
There are also many felt sewing offerings, with animal patterns, ‘quiet’ books, and miscellaneous crafts to make centerpieces, garlands, gift tags, or ornaments. Being an animal lover I’m a fan of this unusual creatures set, featuring an axolotl, manatee, sloth, and – my favorite – a llama!
Aimee Ray has even authored several of her own craft books. Learn 400+ easy embroidery designs with Doodle Stitching: the Motif Collection, including woodland fairytale, trees and leaves, under the sea, and many more themes.
She also offers vinyl stickers of her original artwork. I particularly like this transparent Luna moth full moon design.
If you like Aimee’s art you can purchase digital downloads of it to print at home, with some personalizable options too. My favorite is the fox lore art print.
You can also find SVG files, which are printable craft files for Cricut & Silhouette, but can also be cut by hand. Preparing for fall, and hopefully some rainy weather over here on the west coast of the US, I like the moody weather, clouds and rainbows file.
Little Dear ships worldwide from the US and has some really fun crafts for fall, as well as offering free tutorials and downloads. And if you sign up for the newsletter she includes a $5 coupon code for your next purchase!
