MCM Comic Con is back in London next weekend (28th-30th October) and we’re excited to visit again. Emma will be covering the event for SCK and here’s what’s going on if you want to come along too.
MCM London Comic Con is one of the biggest cons in the UK and well worth a visit if you love sci fi, anime, gaming, cosplay…and kawaii of course!
The stages & panels have now been announced and you can learn origami, manga or Japanese, enjoy panel discussions on all kinds of fandom topics, see previews of new TV shows, watch live music and dance performances and much more. There’s loads of panels, workshops and meetups for cosplayers too, along with the cosplay contest.
We usually spend most time in the Pop Asia section, which covers all things from Japan, Korea and beyond, both modern and traditional. There’s lots to look forward to, from singers and dance crews to sumo and street games.
The exhibitors list for shops and artist alley are still to be announced but you can expect lots of kawaii makers, comic artists and big name shops. Have a look back at our previous MCM Comic Con and Hyper Japan posts for an idea of who might be there.
Tickets are on sale now, with both single day and weekend tickets still available. If you can’t make it, Emma will be sharing updates on Instagram and will have some highlights here on the blog after.
