Lazy Days With Gudetama & Rilakkuma

Posted on January 14, 2022 by

January 16th is National Nothing Day and this year it falls on a Sunday, which is perfect. National Nothing Day is the one holiday you don’t have to prepare for, and I am here for it. Who better to help you get into the nothing-vibe than our favorite lazy characters, Gudetama and Rilakkuma!

Gudetama t-shirt

Channel Gudetama’s lazy spirit by donning this Gudetama Face T-shirt from ARTBOX (UK). The relaxed expression is calming and there is a super cute egg detail on the sleeve (I’m a sucker for a sleeve detail).

Rilakkuma sleep pants

Complete the look and relaxed feel with these Rilakkuma Sleep Pants from Target (US). They feature a sleeping Rilakkuma and an adorable Kiiroitori unsuccessfully trying to wake him up.

Rilakkuma hoodie

It’s January, so if you’re chilly you can layer on this pretty pink Rilakkuma Hoodie sweatshirt from Hot Topic (US). Another great sleeve detail; a pattern of Rilakkuma and Kiiroitori. They have a lot of t-shirts and accessories too.

Gudetama chopstick rest

Easy meals are the way to go on this wonderful day of nothingness. Add some kawaii to your instant ramen with this Gudetama hashi and hashioki set from Target (US). Just a sleepy egg on your table, reminding you to rest. (I am interested in adding even more Gudetama to my kitchen with these cute dish towels as well.)

Gudetama blind box figures

Keep a kawaii reminder to rest everyday on your desk with a blindbox Gudetama Eggstra Lazy vinyl figure from kidrobot (US). The bacon blanket figure encapsulates how I feel every morning this winter. Or you can grab the enamel pin version of these figures if you prefer to keep a little bit of lazy with you at all times.

Gudetama & Rilakkuma wallpapers

If you consider scrolling through your phone or tablet doing nothing, then add some kawaii to your home screen with a free background featuring our friends Gudetama and Rilakkuma.

In a crazy year, I hope you enjoy a day of nothingness!
