I think this will have to become a regular feature as there’s an overwhelming amount of kawaii washi tape out there! I found loads I loved on Etsy before I even looked on other sites so this batch are all original designs by indie artists. It was hard to choose just one design for each so click through to see their whole washi tape collection.
I’m a little bit obsessed with washi tape that has lots of individual designs and this colourful Froggy Frogs tape by Robot Dance Battle (US) even has stamp perforations! I really need their Bread Friends tape too.
I really enjoyed browsing all the designs at The Little Red House (US) as Aggie has a lovely art style with lots of cute animal and nature themes, plus stamp designs and goal trackers. These Forest Animals would be so cute for decorating letters.
I also love a mail-themed design and this one by Square Lime Designs (EU) features their original Little Potato character with holographic foil details.
If you’re a fan of sea creatures, Xintu (UK) have a super cute Underwater World design with sharks, dolphins, jellyfish, manta rays and more.
Drix Productions (UK) also love animals and feature some that are less common in a kawaii style, like birds, bats, tardigrades and dinosaurs.
Nutmeg and Arlo (UK) have a very cute art style and tons of fun washi tape designs. I love these Sweet Treats with happy tea and biscuits.
If you enjoy journaling, this pastel border washi tape by Sticky McStickerface (UK) is an easy way to decorate a spread and they have matching days of the week tape too.
Did we really get this far without cats? You can always rely on The Pink Samurai (US) for some cute ones and these Rainbow Kittens will cheer up anything.
Strawbunny Shortcake anyone? Cosmic Buns Art (US) has a few cute designs in this wider size that are really fun.
And something a little different to finish on, FUJIBEE (US) has some clear tape with little flowers that I can imagine being useful for all kinds of things.
Which is your favourite? You can browse for more kawaii washi tape on Etsy or check out our previous posts in this series.
