I recently bought some plain face masks and wanted to jazz them up. I did not want to spend too much time on making them look cooler so I turned to iron on patches and in a few minutes my masks went from blah to rad! Maybe these kawaii patches will inspire some DIY creativity into your new wardrobe staple – the face mask.

I really like how big this leaf patch is. It just screams – look at me – I play Animal Crossing! It’s available in store at Hot Topic (USA).

Spooksieboo (USA) has lots of awesome patches to choose from. I went with Beetlejuice’s enemy the sandworm to make my mask a little bit creepy but super cute at the same time.

A mason jar kitties patch by SillyRiceShop (USA) is too cute to patch up – I mean pass up (ha ha).

This jelly donut galaxy patch by 100% Soft (USA) is out of this world! Place it with other galaxy patches for a universal look.
You can even learn how to embroider your own patches via this tutorial by kaara’s style with downloadable templates.
If you’re outside the US, you can search on Etsy for more kawaii patches near you.
