SCK Tries… Halloween Monster Rocks

by

It’s another edition of SCK Tries where we try out a DIY tutorial to see how it works in real life and whether we’d recommend if you should give it a go. This time I’m trying my hand at painting Halloween monster rocks.

The Original DIY

This is an easy project that I found on The Inspiration Edit’s blog when searching for something fun to do that would not require a trip to the craft store, saving me time and money. You just need to find some rocks, bust out paint and get creative coming up with monster faces.

Materials & Process

Painting Monster Rocks

I used acrylic paint, googley eyes, strong glue and rocks I found in my yard. I washed off my rock and dried it off. I just freehanded the design once I painted two coats of background paint on it. I used strong hold glue to secure the googley eyes.

The End Result

This is a great craft for these days that you feel creative but do not feel inspired. Painting on such a small surface made me not fret about lots of space and having all of the stuff on hand made the project a breeze. I am planning on making more soon!
