One of the good things about 2020 is events going online meaning you can join in anywhere in the world and wear your pyjamas! UK kawaii fans may have come across Flapjac‘s cute craft workshops at events like Hyper Japan (we made some teru teru bozu last year) and now everyone can take part in Jessica’s new online Halloween events over Zoom.
There’s three cute crafts to choose from and we especially love the look of the Cute & Spooky Bead Embroidered Accessories! In this class, Jessica will show you basic bead embroidery techniques to make your own cute ghost, cat and pumpkin to turn into wearable accessories.
Or how about making a Mini Witch Hat? This would be great for dressing up yourself or a willing pet and can be made with any kind of fabric that you can get your hands on.
If you book either of those, you get free entry to one of the Fashion Bat Bows Workshops or you can book it separately. This is easy enough for beginners and can add a spooky touch to a hat or bag, or be turned into a brooch or headband.
The events take place on the 10th and 17th of October with tickets costing £6 and £11.50. Find out more on the Flapjac Eventbrite page and book your tickets. All workshops include templates plus resources for where to buy the supplies so you can always watch the event and then make something later.
