It’s been ages since we’ve had a reader request so thanks to Jessica of Flapjac for this fun one. She ran the super cute teru teru bozu workshop at Hyper Japan so look out for her at kawaii events.
Do you have any suggestions where I can get some kawaii Halloween everyday clothes? I’d like some sweatshirts with cute spooky designs on and other fun things to wear during October.
Whether you dress for Halloween all year round, or keep some special items just for October. Here’s some shops I would recommend for spooky cute fashion.

Pastel Goth is a good search term to use as it’s a fashion style that mixes kawaii with horror and there’s new designs all year round. Listen Flavor is a big pastel goth brand with a really unique style for t-shirts, hoodies, dresses and more. This sailor collar jacket has a bat shape cut into the back! You can find Listen Flavor at Dreamy Bows (UK) and Tokyo Otaku Mode (Japan).

Cutesy Kink (UK) also stock lots of cute J-Fashion brands and styles with a darker side. This black cat skirt is so fun, especially the cat paw belt.

If you prefer to support indie designers, Yoyo the Ricecorpse (UK) just launched a cool Yokai collection full of ghosts and unlucky cats. This double-sided hungry ghosts sweatshirt is my favourite.

Em & Sprout have almost too many Halloween designs to choose from including t-shirts, jumpers, hats and even shoes! This sweatshirt has all the good stuff – ghosts, pumpkins, cats and more. Not quite your style? I also love the Halloween designs by Ugly Plants, OMOCAT, I Like Cats and Hello DODO.

Print-on-demand sites like Redbubble (ships from the UK, USA, Australia & more) are great to browse as you’ll find lots of designs by kawaii artists available in a wide range of sizes and styles. KiraKiraDoodles has put her happy ghost Spooky McCute on loads of clothing options including t-shirts, skirts and leggings.
