With the first day of spring fast approaching on March 20 (in the Northern Hemisphere anyway!), I’m definitely itching for more mild temperatures, flowers, pastel colors everywhere—and cute animals like sheep! I feel they often get neglected in their representation, which is a shame because they’re probably my favorite spring-related animal. If you feel the same, I’ve got a few kawaii sheep DIYs to fill the void!
If you’re getting ready to whip out those pretty spring spreads in your journal or planner—if you haven’t already—why not add a cute sheep doodle to it? Draw So Cute has a tutorial on how to draw an adorable lamb that would make a great addition to a spring or pastel page.

Looking for a crochet option? RNata on Etsy has an affordable digital pattern to help you make Dora the amigurumi lamb. As a bonus, the instructions are available in three languages: English, Dutch, and Portuguese.
Chelsey DIY knows how to make really cute plushies, and her sheep plushie tutorial from last year is no exception! It does require a few extra supplies compared to most of the plush projects that I share, but the end product is totally worth it.
While an oldie, it’s still a goody—most clay crafters are probably familiar with Maqaroon’s channel and DIYs, but it’s worth noting her cream puff sheep clay figure is still arguably her most iconic (and cutest) creation. If you haven’t already given it a go, now’s a great time to make your own!
