Kawaii Woodland Animals Crafts

Now that it’s officially September, it’s safe to say the first day of autumn is quickly approaching. Most people seem to be either lamenting the impending loss of warmer weather, or cheering for the season of pumpkin spice everything. No matter which category you’re a member of, I think we can all agree on one positive association with the season: cute forest animals! Here are a few cute DIYs I’ve found that should help with getting into the spirit of the season.

Hedgehog Amigurumi pattern

Craft Passion’s Mimi-chan the amigurumi hedgehog is a cute option for any crochet crafter! Mei from amiguruMEI designed the pattern, so it’s not really a wonder why it’s so cute.

Raccoon calendar divider+ paperclips

If you need to bring your planner or stationery collection into the season with you, Lovely Planner’s free raccoon calendar divider and paper clip printables should do the trick.

kawaii beaver plush pattern

Noialand has a beaver plush pattern that would make for a cute and beginner-friendly sewing project. As it’s a simple craft, it’s ideal during school season when some may not have a lot of free time!

Watch on YouTube

Kikums Tiny Creations has an in-depth tutorial on how to make a wonderfully adorable DIY fox planner charm from polymer clay. As a bonus, there are a few variations shown to help with ideas on how to customize it.

doe and fawn cross stitch kit

And if you enjoy needle crafts, Little Beach Hut has a doe and fawn cross stitch kit that comes with all the supplies you need for the project aside from an embroidery hoop. I’m a big fan of the mori-kei style of the design!

Be sure to show us or let us know if you try out any of these crafts! You can also find more ideas for seasonal crafts in Things to Make.
