Things To Make

DIY Tutorials by All Things Nim

Posted on November 24, 2016 by

A few weeks ago I came across Nim C and her channel All Things Nim, which has a selection of cute DIY tutorials on crafting your own school supplies, room decorations and more.

Look at this adorable unicorn cat container for magical slime. You could just create the container and use it for something else, but I’d love to have some of that glittery slime.

These star plushies could be such a great personalised present, or a group project to create matching friendship plushies. They’re so simple that even I could make one.

Nim also creates videos with multiple crafts in one. In this video, she is crafting school supplies: a decorated pencil sharpener, personalised notebook cover, paper clips and a pencil case. It’s great how a few tips open so many possibilities: based on this, you can come up with your own sharpener idea, or create stencils in other patterns for endless designs.

This is a guest post from Sara, who is on the shortlist to become SCK’s new craft writer! Let us know if you’d like to see more posts like this.

Sara is Costarican, currently living in the USA, and her favourite crafts are drawing, painting, photography and scrapbooking. She also blogs about beauty, nail art and design at Daily Lovejuice.

You should also try checking out Maqaroon & Cute Life Hacks. I watch her channel daily and she makes really cute things out of everyday household items. She also does reviews on things from all over the world, mostly Japan (best country in the world! <3 <3 <3 <3) and gives links in the descriptions of those videos on where to get them. She also has resources lists for crafts as well, and giveaways too.
I find most of her vids really helpful and inspiring! Please give her a review too!! :D
I recall her doing her own version of slime, which she called "Rainbow Slime". It's made mostly from PVA, Eyedrops, e.t.c and she made a whole tub.

Thank you for the channels recommendation. Subscribed immediately – such cute and fun content on both! And that slime mountain looks amazing, she made so much of it as well! And so colorful! Thanks :)
