My mum is Dutch and we spent most of our school holidays in Holland where a shopping spree in HEMA was always something to look forward to. It’s basically a department store, but they have a good selection of stationery, craft supplies, sweets and kitchenware at bargain prices. HEMA have recently opened a few stores in London and that means UK folks can now order online too. Here’s a few of my favourites.
Our old friend Panda-san alerted me to this umbrella which you could easily think was from Paperchase.
You can get the same design on notebooks and scrapbooks too – so cute!
Paper plates for Easter that I would use for any occasion – and only £1.50 for 10!
I’m not sure if these colourful music-themed erasers are Iwako or just their own version, but either way they’re really fun.
And finally, an ice cream USB stick because boring old data can be cute too.
Now if we can just get an Albert Heijn supermarket here so I can stock up on all my favourite Dutch food!
Updated 2020: HEMA no longer ship to the UK
