Winter Olympics Mascots

Meomi are big favourites of ours at Super Cute Kawaii and we were just as excited as everyone else when we discovered they had designed the mascots for this year’s Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

The mascots are adorable – Sumi, Quatchi and Miga are just too cute not to mention on our hallowed pages.

And even better – you can own one of your very own! The official Olympics website has a huge range of super kawaii plush, keychains, clothing and more with these little guys on. Plus there are free games, activities and videos all featuring our furry friends.

I just love Meomi’s illustrations! Their mascots are probably the best Olympic mascots ever, IMHO. Oh, maybe apart from the mascot for the 1980 Olympics in Russia, a super-cute bear called Misha. I dread to think what someone will design for the London 2012 Olympics… I have nightmare visions of a chibi Boris Johnson dressed up in lion costume… ugh!
