Baymax is one of my favourite Disney characters, so whenever I see any merchandise or DIYs related to him it always makes me very happy. If you’re also a fan of the cuddly robot, then you need to check out these shopping picks and recipes.

With a little alteration to shape and a very easy design, you’ve got yourself a Baymax macaron. They may be simple in appearance but they represent him perfectly. Get the recipe from The Busy Spatula.

If you wanted to showcase more than just his face then these little ‘melt-in-your-mouth’ German cookies from Bento Monsters are super cute. The addition of the red heart is also the perfect touch.

They also have another similar representation, but this time made from shiratama, and he’s playing around in matcha pudding. I feel like the shiratama would be a great way to show how bouncy he is!

Melon pan is one of my favourite bread products to eat when I’m in Japan, so imagine how thrilled I was to find a recipe for one that looks like Baymax. Flavour of the Film uses one of Kim-Joy’s recipes and adapts it to fit the Big Hero 6 theme.

I love how Dessert Now Dinner Later uses marshmallows to give us part of Baymax’s body and then sticks him on top of a cupcake. The cake can be adapted to any dietary requirements, or you could use shop-bought for something easier to achieve.

On to shopping picks and The Disney Store in Japan (JP – requires forwarding service) has the most fantastic collection of Baymax merchandise – honestly there is just so much to choose from. They have an entire character page dedicated to him, but I loved this plush pencil case/pouch with a heart attached as an extra design point. You can also find some items at regional Disney Stores and through VeryGoods (JP).

Loungefly (US/UK/EU) has had quite the selection of Baymax accessory launches over the years, but I really like this cardholder with his signature ‘care ranking system’ on it.

Relax at home with your cat in these pyjama bottoms, exclusive to BoxLunch (US), featuring everyone’s favourite chunky feline, Mochi. Sizes XS-2X

Daiso (JP – requires forwarding service) is another store that has a plethora of Baymax merchandise, especially stationery, and I think that these sticker flakes are adorable. I love that they show him in his red suit too, as that’s not often the case!

If you need something to hold your train pass, photo card or even make using your work ID a little more fun, then this plushy card holder is so cute! It’s available from Plaza Japan (JP) along with lots more Baymax.
