How do subscription boxes work?

Subscription boxes are sent out regularly (usually once a month or every quarter) with themed contents. Paying for a block of boxes in advance is the best value, but most have a month-to-month option too so you can cancel after one box, or whenever you like. The featured boxes all ship to most countries worldwide (from the location shown) but shipping may be expensive in some regions or incur customs fees. Many boxes have exclusive or limited edition items and often the box contents are not available once the box sells out, but some have shops where you can buy individual items from past boxes. If you don’t mind spoilers, most sites share a look at the contents. If you do, read our past reviews to get an idea of what might be inside.
