Claire (AKA Panda san) is the co-founder of Super Cute Kawaii and stepped down in August 2014. She lives somewhere in the middle of Scotland with a boy and a big dog who put up with her ever-growing collection of plush pillows without grumbling. Claire now spends most of her free time crafting risque homewares and dreaming of ponies.

Kendy (AKA MissMuffcake) was a staff writer, specialising in pets and the darker side of kawaii. She lives in California, USA, with her boyfriend Matt and two kitties (Mady & Mortis). In her spare time she likes eating/creating vegan food, petting kittens, collecting cute toys, wandering cemeteries, making zines and doing yoga.

Jean-Claude Le Bun IV used to organise our fantastique giveaways (now archived) but retired in 2014. He is a world class kawaii expert who holds a degree from the Sorbunne. Jean-Claude’s wife, Celeste, started posting her cute French finds during one of Le Bun’s frequent skiing accidents. They also have a son, Petit Jacques.
Jen was SCK’s Intern for 2022. She lives in Kumamoto, Japan with her husband Koji, dog Cookie, and hedgehog, Doppio. She spends her days working as a neurodiverse freelance writer and her nights playing Genshin Impact. She loves coffee, baked goods, and has been to both Sanrio Puroland and Sanrio Harmonyland.

Jessica was SCK’s Summer Intern for 2019. She lives in north Staffordshire in the UK and loves to draw cute things like manga, her favourite art styles currently being kemonomimi and surrealism. She reads all the time and hopes to one day write her own book, and also enjoys playing cute games and experimenting with alternative clothing styles.

Hannah was SCK’s Summer Intern for 2018. She is a 30-something Japanophile who has never actually visited Japan. She was born in the UK, but now lives in Spain, and enjoys watching anime, reading manga and spending money she doesn’t have on things she doesn’t need, but are too cute to resist.

She loves to craft and create cute things and also visits local anime conventions, either to sell her wares or just simply to cosplay. She lives in the North East of England and loves to collect plushies, anime figurines and dolls.
