It feels like spring just got here but isn’t lasting long, as summer’s not that far away and all of these kawaii summer plush releases are making me feel ready for the new season.
Build-A-Bear’s (Global) new Summer Fun collection definitely got me excited for summer. My absolute favorite is Too Cute Toucan and you can also get our bird friend in a gift set with an adorable ruffle dress and bow sandals, or a mini version.
There are some fun mini collections as well like the Mashimals, Slushie Plushies, and Beary Goods. It’s hard to choose, but my picks are Octopail, Coconut Lime Koala (which you can get scented or with a lei), and the Beary Goods Sun.
Our beloved kitty Pusheen is featured in a new Tropical Vacation surprise plush series in different poolside looks or with a summer snack. There are eight styles, including a rare mystery one, and they even come on a keychain so Pusheen can accompany you on your summer bag. Available from The Pusheen Shop (US) and stockists worldwide. PS. Tropical Vacation is also the theme of the upcoming Summer Pusheen Box (US).
The Disney Store (US/UK) has a special Winnie the Pooh Summertime collection from Disney Store Japan with plushes and keychains of Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore with flower hats. The Pooh plush is also featured enjoying a slice of watermelon.
It’s always exciting to see what Jellycat (US/UK) has coming soon. Available this week are some summer friends, including Larry Lobster in a sailor outfit, Fancy Carp, Roarwell Sea Lion, and Keli Pelican.
Anirollz (US) has Aloha Summer themed plushes with a Shaved Ice Chickiroll, Pineapple Juice Panadaroll, Blue Hawaiian Shirts Foxiroll, and Red Hawaiian Shirts Puppiroll. Check out their Miniz plush charms too.
