Spring days mean more sunshine, flowers and increasingly warmer temperatures. Here are a few recipes for drinks to refresh you on sunny days, look pretty on your celebration tables, and even a couple to warm you up if needed.

Spring brunches mean Bucks Fizz (or Mimosas) and this minted mimosa punch from How Sweet Eats is like an upgraded version to share between friends. I love the addition of fruits and mint leaves (and flowers on the table) to give it a celebratory spring feeling.

If you’d prefer something similar but without the alcohol, then this spring sangria mocktail from Mindful Mocktail could be a great alternative. The flavours feel a bit summer-y, but with the florals mixed in, it’s like spring exploded in the pitcher.

It’s rhubarb season and I’m thrilled, because it’s one of my absolute favourite flavours. This rhubarb syrup from Heartbeet Kitchen can be bottled and added to many a recipe, such as sparkling water for a daily drink or to upgrade a regular gin and tonic.

Yuzu is another favourite of mine and its refreshing flavour makes it perfect for spring and summer. Alain Milliat mixes yuzu concentrate with non-alcoholic sparkling wine, sparkling water and sugar syrup to make a very pretty non-alcoholic cocktail.

Sakura season might be on the way out, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy them in our drinks. Sift and Simmer has a recipe for cherry blossom syrup, which can be used in a variety of ways, including the lychee cocktail in my cherry blossom post and this sakura-strawberry latte.

A friend of mine swears by sparkling tea as the most popular non-alcoholic option at parties. Saicho (UK) has 4 sparkling tea options (including my favourite tea Hojicha), but jasmine seems like the most springlike in flavour. The bottle and box comes beautifully decorated, so they would make the most beautiful gift.

If you’re happy that rhubarb season is here, but don’t want to make your own syrup, then Bird and Blend (UK) do a rhubarb and custard tea variation. I imagine this would be very nostalgic for those who loved the sweets when they were younger.

While this isn’t a spring specific drink, this Pokemon x Grind coffee collaboration (UK) is on during spring, so it seems only right to share it now. The green Eevee reusable cup is very springlike and keeps your hot coffee hot and your iced coffee iced. If you’re planning to buy some beans, pods or ground coffee anyway, now might be the perfect time.
