I have to admit that, despite being one of Sanrio’s oldest characters, My Sweet Piano made no impression on me until I watched My Melody & Kuromi on Netflix. As a sheep, the fluffy animation style really suits her and the little sheep noises she makes are too cute. Having proved she’s more than just a sidekick, here’s a post where My Sweet Piano is the star. There’s a lot of overlap between these shops so check the one closest to you for more.
My Sweet Piano most often appears with My Melody but she does sometimes get a whole collection to herself. JapanLA (US) has the Meringue Party collection, with a frilly pink and white sweets theme. It’s mostly accessories including a few different bags, pouches and cases, and I especially love the trinket dish and a matching headband for you to wear.
My Little Treasure is another sweet collection that features My Sweet Piano’s favourite things. This is also mostly accessories, like a tote bag, zipper pouch, spa turban and cushion. VeryGoods (JP) have most things in stock.
ARTBOX (UK) has a really nice selection for UK fans including Japanese imports. This Sweet Heart collection features both My Sweet Piano & My Melody but they get some matching products too. This has some cute things for the home with a pen holder, storage bin, cups and utensils, all in bright pinks.
It’s a bit surprising that the official stores for Sanrio Japan (JP – requires forwarding service) and Sanrio USA don’t have much you can’t find elsewhere but there are a few special things, like this plush pochette bag from the Sanrio Puroland theme park and Strawberry News 50th Anniversary plush.
On to collabs and Build-A-Bear (global) have a very fluffy My Sweet Piano plush and matching pink satin dress. You can always add a different outfit from the Sanrio collection if you think it’s weird for a character to wear clothes of their own face!
Or cute up your workspace with an Akko x My Sweet Piano limited edition mechanical keyboard (CN) with a full set of adorable keycaps as well as a backlight.
