We’re into Autumn now and it won’t be long until the ghosts and ghouls will be knocking on our door, so we need to have a feast ready for when they do. I’ll have a recipe post up later this month, but we need to make sure we get our spooky servingware in time, so here are some items to give you a bit of Halloween party inspiration…

Natural Kitchen (JP – requires forwarding service) is the cutest little homeware store in Japan and I love their seasonal items. The Halloween tea time collection is adorable with little ghosts as chopstick rests and coasters, but this ghostly platter is great for cakes and other tea time treats.

If you do decide to have a Halloween themed afternoon tea, then may I suggest this seasonal pumpkin teapot from Asda (UK). They also have matching mugs (and other items) in store too.

These stemless wine glasses from Anthropologie (global) come filled with a little Halloween surprise… Choose from ghosts, pumpkins or black cats and then either fill the glasses with clear liquid to showcase the designs or with dark liquid to have them be a surprise for your guests as they drink!

If, like me, you don’t love washing up, then these paper plates from Meri Meri (global) have the cutest retro Halloween design. They also have a matching collection of other paper goods if you want to add napkins and cups.

This spider web cake stand from Walmart (USA) is amazing and perfect for some halloween cupcakes or a spooky layer cake centrepiece. If you’re not in the US, John Lewis (UK) has these almost matching spiderweb plates that are both creepy (crawly) and fun in equal measure.

Every good party needs a cheeseboard and these pumpkin/gourd shaped ones from Anthropologie (global) are perfectly seasonal and would actually be great for an autumnal celebration too.

Halloween means a lot of chocolate and sweets NEED to be eaten and what better way to display your wares than in a golden skull! Target (USA) also have matching glasses with skeleton hands on the base for an eerie ‘who’s holding my glass’ vibe…

Even your seasoning needs to be on theme, so make sure your salt and pepper are stored inside these little pumpkins ready for your Halloween table. Get them at Flying Tiger (UK/EU)

After all that prep, partying and washing up, you’ll surely need a cup of tea, but it still needs to be spooky. I love this little ceramic ghost mug at Sainsbury’s (UK) and it’s definitely a ghost I wouldn’t mind haunting my house for the Halloween season.
