As an Old I am nostalgically delighted to see phone charms making a comeback as I really miss those days of accessorising your phone with far too many cute charms. This time around, beaded wrist straps are especially popular and you can find all sorts of cute options from kawaii characters to handmade and personalised. PS. if your phone case isn’t compatible, you can still join in by using the gap between buttons or adding a phone charm hook.
The phone charms at The Pusheen Shop (US) helpfully include a photo of how they work with a wristlet/bracelet part that might help you avoid dropping your phone. Choose from Pusheen or Sloth – and you can add a phone case too.
Sanrio (US) are always quick to join a trend and their beaded straps are perfect. There’s 13 characters to choose from, all with themed beads in colours that match their style.
Casetify (US) are well known for their phone & tech accessories so it’s no surprise that they’ve added phone straps. Sadly a lot of the character & pop culture collab designs are sold out (bring back these RECORDER Factory bunnies!) but they’re sure to add more in future and there’s still lots of cute options that can even be personalised with letter beads.
Skinnydip (UK) has a whole range of Taylor Swift-inspired designs plus a few kawaii options including Miffy & Looney Tunes. They often do character collabs so look out for more in future.
I’d not come across Coconut Lane (UK) before but they have loads of cute tech accessories including beaded straps in lots of fun designs from cherries and flowers to hearts and bows. Love the matching cases too, especially the fluffy one!
If you prefer to shop handmade, Magical Kawaiiland (EU) has added some phone straps in Ciali’s signature pastel decoden style including your choice of initial.
ONA Studios (UK) offers all kinds of customisable options so you can choose your beads and add a name or phrase.
You can also search kawaii beaded phone straps on Etsy to find more shops located near you.
