We’re sadly losing Kendy/MissMuffcake soon so we’re looking to add a few extra people to the SCK team who can help us cover more topics and make the site even better! Could you be one of them?

There are 2 different roles available and we are likely to hire more than 1 person for each role. We’d prefer you apply for one role only, but there is an option in the columnist application to add the freelancer information. If you’ve applied in the past, you are most welcome to try again.
Columnists
Columnists would write a longer post (or create a video) once a month at most on a specific theme. We’d especially like to find people based in or near kawaii cities like Tokyo, London, Los Angeles & Seoul to cover events & character cafes but would also be interested in people who could create original craft tutorials, how to guides or other specialised content (see suggestions below).
This is a paid position starting in March on a trial basis. You would receive a set fee per post/video plus we can cover some agreed expenses and/or provide help with press access to events, items for review etc.

Freelancers
Freelancers would write 1-3 short posts a month on general kawaii topics like shopping picks, DIYs etc. It would be a mix of your own ideas and set topics with holiday & seasonal themes.

January 15, 2021 at 10:57 pmHello, my name is Serena Brown. While Looking through the application for the Freelancers, in the part where it says to send a link of something you created online, does it have to be something kawaii or just basically anything we think is our best creation? That’s all I have to ask.
