Whether you can’t wait for Christmas or need some cheering up, these kawaii advent calendars will make December fun with a cute daily treat.
Meri Meri have lots of cute advent calendars to choose from including enamel pins, hair accessories and charm bracelet. My favourite is the unicorn stamp set, a box filled with mini wooden stamps that have a festive and magical theme, plus ink pads too.
If you can’t afford their giant stationery advent calendar, Paperchase (UK) also have a smaller 12 Days of Christmas calendar. You get a mix of fun and colourful pens, pencils and desk accessories with animal and food themes.
For a bigger mix of stationery items, Mrs Brimbles (UK) have an advent box filled with items that you can use in your planner, journal or other creative projects including stickers, washi tape and planner charms. Everything is a surprise but they’ve shared images of previous years to give you an idea.
For a more eco-friendly option, why not Sew Your Own Felt Advent Calendar to can use every year? This book by Sachiyo Ishii (UK / USA) shows you how to make a pocket calendar and 24 mini felt toys that you could hang on your tree each day.
If you don’t have that much time, Little Things To Share has a pattern for 12 tiny felt ornaments. You could make them in advance and pick one at random each day to hang up or sew them throughout December. Check their Etsy shop for more festive patterns too.
This 12 Days of Christmas beauty advent calendar is for kids but don’t let that stop you! All the treats look really cute and they’re vegan and cruelty-free too. It’s available from Little Advent Boxes (Australia) who have loads more to choose from too.
There’s a few more ideas in last year’s post too – I’ve updated any old links.
