Link’s Awakening is one of my favourite games of all time, and the Switch remake is even cuter! I’m so excited to return to Koholint Island and explore everything again. If you’ve got the game too, here’s some cute products, DIYs and more to enjoy.
This has to be one of the cutest Links I’ve ever seen! It’s a readymade amigurumi crochet toy handmade by Miss Bajo Collection (Spain) and also available as a keyring.
If you’ve got the crochet skills, make your own with a free pattern at All About Ami that even includes a shield and sword.
Chibi Link is all ready to join you on your adventures as a colourful iron-on patch by Art Rox Pins (Germany). It’s also available as a vinyl sticker.
The plot of Link’s Awakening involves the mysterious Wind Fish and the giant egg above the island. This enamel pin by Kevin Jay Stanton (USA) is a cool little nod to the game – and going on my wish list.
I don’t think many of us would have the patience to recreate ClayClaim’s incredible polymer clay Mabe Village from the game (complete with Link, Bow Wow and cucco!). It’s a lot to fun to watch though, and you’re sure to pick up a few clever techniques for your own projects.
And I can’t end a Legend of Zelda-themed post without mentioning Captain Dangerous on Instagram. Kyleigh’s photos are so beautiful and atmospheric, and full of little details. Link makes a lot of appearances alongside Animal Crossing, Pokemon and other Nintendo games, so go follow.
