I’ve been spotting quite a few kawaii koalas recently so I decided to share some with you for your next crafty project.
If you feel like taking your pom pom making to the next level, Pom Maker have some super cute free tutorials. Their latest is for a very fluffy koala and they’ve provided both a video and a step by step photo tutorial. I can really recommend their donut makers too – so much easier than plastic or cardboard versions.
You can always rely on Noia Land for a cute doll sewing pattern (instant download). This koala girl has a matching hood and dress, plus an adorable tiny hand puppet!
Animal socks are clearly the best kind of socks and you can make your own with this knitting pattern from GirlyKnits. For about £6 you get a digital pattern plus matching fox and pig patterns, and even a video to help with any tricky bits.
We can’t have a koala crafts post without Maqaroon – Joanna is always coming up with cute DIYs featuring her favourite animal. This paper clay macaron looks so sweet and there’s also sock plush and needlefelting DIYs to try.
If you prefer to make your own crafty plans, add some koala fabric to your stash. This fun print at Cottye (EU) features koalas at the cinema and comes in 3 colours.
