If you’ve got some holiday money to spend, here’s some super cute books coming out in 2019 from our favourite kawaii crafters, YouTubers and more. As well as getting a cute book in the mail, you’ll help publishers see what’s popular so they’ll think about commissioning more kawaii books.

The Super Cute Book of Kawaii
Of course, our own book is coming out this summer! The Super Cute Book of Kawaii is packed full of cute crafts, recipes, fashion, shopping, Japan and lots more to help make your life super cute. Out July – pre-order from Amazon UK / Book Depository

Kawaii Craft Life
Trellis & Thyme create some of our favourite kawaii craft patterns on Etsy and now they have a book. It promises 35 super-cute projects to decorate the home or give as gifts. Out May – pre-order from Amazon (UK / USA) / Book Depository

Kawaii Origami
We often feature origami tutorials by Paper Kawaii and I’m so happy to see that Chrissy has a book coming out. As well as 25 projects, it includes sheets of origami paper to get you started. Out April – pre-order from Amazon (UK / USA) / Book Depository

Kawaii Sweet World Cookbook
Another SCK fave gets a cookbook. The cute recipes by Kawaii Sweet World are hard to resist so I can’t wait to see what’s inside this book. Out July – pre-order from Amazon (UK / USA) / Book Depository

Amigurumi Sweets
It’s always great to see Japanese craft books get English editions. This one by Miyuki Ichikawa will help you learn to crochet a variety of sweet things, including key chains, pouches, bag mascots, and more! Out February – pre-order from Amazon (UK / USA) / Book Depository
