The summer heat is still in full swing in southeastern USA, but at this point I am very much ready for sweater weather and cute autumn/fall crafts It may be because I spend a lot more time indoors, but I always feel extra crafty during the cooler months, so I thought I’d pick out several of my favorite woodland animals kits and patterns to start preparation for the upcoming season.
The beaver plush embroidery kit by Kiriki speaks for itself—I mean it’s a beaver in a flannel coat! What more could you ask for? This kit is great for experienced embroidery hobbyists looking for a challenge.
Little Dear’s kits are some of my absolute favorites, and I always end up gravitating towards them even when I don’t mean to! Their little gray owl embroidery doll kit is a cute choice for any owl lover to make or receive as a gift. There’s more animals in this series too.
Speaking of Little Dear, did you know they also have a print shop? They offer so many cute printables, but the woodland animals banners are my favorites. This would definitely be cute for a party, but it would work just as well as seasonal décor (or year-round décor if you fancy the mori-kei look!)
If you enjoy felt sewing and embroidery projects, Crafty Alien Studio has a bunch of cute options! Their woodland felt plush pattern set is really cute and a great bargain for as many animal patterns as you get.
The same shop also has adorable crochet and knitting choices—just check out the squishable fox knit amigurumi pattern! It’s hard to just pick one of those for this post; there’s also a hedgehog plush pattern that is insanely cute and definitely worth an honorable mention.
