Kawaii Panda Box Review

Posted on November 13, 2017 by

There are so many kawaii boxes around that it’s always nice to see something different. Kawaii Panda have taken inspiration from their company name – and love of pandas- to create a range of surprise boxes including a panda-themed box!

Kawaii Panda Box review

I received the Kawaii Panda Box which includes 8-10 panda-themed sweets and stationery items. €0,50 from your purchase even goes to Pandas International to help with the preservation of pandas. The box arrived in a couple of days from Portugal and everything was so prettily packaged. This really felt like a gift from a friend and was really fun to unpack. Let’s see what was inside!

Amuse Puchimaru Panda Plush Charm

Let’s start with my favourite item – a tiny panda plush! It’s so small and yet has lots of cute details and the sweetest expression. It also has an elastic loop so you can hang it on your bag. Since I collect small plushies, this was perfect for me.

Panda Biscuits

Who knew there were so many panda-themed snacks? This box included three different panda biscuits that are as cute as they are tasty.

Kawaii Panda Box review

Sakupan Panda Biscuits are widely available in Japan (and online) but I never tire of them because they’re so cute! Each biscuit has a panda face made of milk and white chocolate layers and every face is different. They got a little bit messy in their travels but that doesn’t affect the taste. They come in a resealable bag so handy for snacking on the go.

I’ve also had Hello Panda biscuits before but not this double chocolate flavour, which was even better than the regular version. These all have different sporty illustrations to make you feel guilty about sitting on the sofa eating biscuits instead of windsurfing with your panda friend.

Kamio Mochi Panda Stickers

Is there anything better than glittery, food-themed panda stickers? This pack of sticker flakes includes 7 different designs and they’re all so shiny and adorable. I love sticker flakes as they’re easy to store and share so I can’t wait to use these.

Mochi Mochi Panda Memo Pad

Mini memo pads are always useful and this one has a cool space theme and two different page designs.

Mochi Mochi Panda Glue Stick

Do you see what I mean about the cute packaging? This cute little glue stick was being hugged by a panda! I’ve never thought to buy kawaii glue but it does make sense for journalling. Why should your glue stick be boring when it can be pink and glittery?

Quit Panda Deco Tape

A couple more stationery items to finish off. The deco tape is especially fun with a panda slowly undressing into a polar bear!

Even the business card came in a little panda bag with a cute badge. Most of the items in the box are available from the Kawaii Panda website if you want to buy more, but there are a few exclusive items too.

Kawaii Panda Box review

This is such a cute box and would make the best gift ever for a panda fan and has lots of appeal for animal and stationery lovers. The support of real pandas is also a unique touch that sets the box apart and means you can do a little bit of good while adding to your stationery stash.
